Ok, here's a question I thought I'd never see on a Buell board.... For the Inside Pass demos, what coolant mixture were the factory bikes running? Were they running what will be the "stock" coolant mixture or were they running something like Water Wetter, etc.? |

They were on the track therefore they were running pure water due to spill concerns. Coolants cool better, but are very slippery. Production bikes get basically the same coolant as do the V-Rods. |

""They were on the track therefore they were running pure water due to spill concerns"" Could this be the reason the bikes were running a bit hot, as noted in other threads by some of the riders at Inside Pass track days etc.? (Message edited by sheridan_bueller on October 27, 2007) |

That running hot thing seemed to be a hit and miss thing depending on which bike you got during the early demos. Any more it seems like none of the bikes run hot at all any more. At least thats what it seems from the latest write ups and what I saw personally at Willow. |
