Has anyone tried Future Floor Wax to shine their plastic XB body parts?

I know guys who build contest quality model cars and swear by Future to give their models a deep gloss. They brush Future right out of the bottle onto the model with a foam brush.

I figured I ask before I gave it a try! Probably best to try on the underside of some of the plastic first!
