Wouldn't surprise me if he purposely wanted it to go to a customer. Seems like he's just "like that".

They told us yesterday at Mid Ohio that they haven't made one yet. I believe they also said that they hoped to begin production at the end of October.

I would rather see them back up production to get it all dialed in correctly, then rush to make a self-imposed deadline. November/December/January is not great riding weather anyway.
