I had a great day at Pocono yesterday at the Buell demo and today I am feeling especially calm and at peace with the world. It harkens back to a younger day when I was racing dirt bikes once a month or so and I always felt really calm on Monday. I was just wondering if any of you have experienced this phenomenon. I wonder if there is any medical reason for it having to do adrenalin or endorphins, etc? |

You went to the edge, you stared over the precipice, and you lived to tell about it. Of course you're calm and relaxed now! |

I have the opposite thing happen to me. After being on the track my heart starts to race every time I get into some turns, and it doesn't matter if I'm in my car or on the bike. I start to get all jacked up. My blood pressure also goes thru the roof when I watch racing on TV like I am in control of the bike..... Just sitting here, looking at a map of Mid Ohio gets me hyper..... |

Hmmm... Calm after the storm aye? Jguy, you must not be married. Marriage has the opposite effect the "day after". |

Hey Jersey, did they let you go all out, or did you just have to follow a slow "Pace Bike"? |
