I have the updated Buell shifter. If I switch the block so the fulcrum is to the front of the bike w/ this make it 1 up & 4 down? I was thinking of positioning the block exactly opposite and using the adjustment linkage to position peg properly. Will it work? |

Don't remember the make-up of your particular shifter, since I never had that one. But the lever that is attached to the shaft coming from the transmission, just rotate it 180 degrees and if it will adjust out you should have it. I've been running GP style shift for years and would never go back. Takes a couple of months to really get use to it and you need (if possible)convert everything you ride or you will have a hard time...........Charlie |

James I just updated my S1 & S3 with the new style shifters and that is exactly what I did. The shifter arm should face forward. Makes riding the twisties easier. Joe |
