IIRC they are the same size specification for 2008 - does the Uly use a version of the 1125 front end? ...I didn't get a chance to ask this at the Pocono class, sorry. Maybe I should take the '08 Uly home from work tonight and "experiment", LOL. |

The Uly does use a version of the 1125 forks. Of course the internal spring rates are different for the Uly then the 1125. Btw, for you guys with the 43 mm lower triples (2005 – present XBs, if my memory serves), the 47 mm forks will fit. The OD of the 47s is the same as the 43s. Looking at it from the 'other' side (comparing '07 Uly forks to '08), it did look like the trees were the same. The '07 has an hourglass shape, tapering wider for the trees...and the '08 is a straight outer tube. Good info, thanks, if the Uly has half the feedback of the 1125, it should be an even more incredible ride this year |
