Ok I have both now and plan on installing. The Traction grip on the throttle side came on a new throttle tube. Can I just remove it from the plastic tube and install it on the current tube? I also would like to know if you guys with this set up put the mylar heater on the plastic tube between the grip and the plastic or if you put it on the metal handle bar the slid the tube over it? The instructions say to put the tape heater on the plastic throttle tube but it seems the cable would be flexing a lot with use. Thanks |

You put it on the plastic tube. You can blow off the grip with compressed air. You will need to tie off the wires. I used safety wire to lock the wires down to keep them from flexing on my old bike. I am going to go with the polly heaters on this one. |
