Actually I have to say in retrospect that the rain sort of had it's place with such a big Uly turnout which bye the way all looked well ridden indeed!(and since they were all a terrific bunch of folk, I will forgive them for booting my lowly Ss out of it's parking spot for their group photo!) The one other thing that I wanted to mention is the unending praise I heard throughout the day for the good people at Liberty from regular customers that ranged as far as Albany New York! (that is roughly 170 miles for you anti geography folk) It is a praise I whole heartedly share! You guys are the model dealership if I ever saw one and I thank you for it along with the hospitality you show regardless of day or event or non event. Randy |

Liberty did a great job. I really appreciate getting a free dyno run. The food was good and everyone was having a great time. There were some awesome bikes there. Do we know what the winning HP was for the dyno shootout with the V-rods? I also liked being able to get a signed T-shirt with such a cool graphic. Well done Liberty and staff!!! |

Excellent job by the Liberty Crew! I had a good time Fer shure. Met some good people and had some good chow! Weather was not perfect but the atmosphere couldn't have been better! See you all next time around! |

Had a great time. Food was good and I even got to shake Erik's hand. Thanks to everyone at Liberty for making a day like that possible. You guys really are the best! So much for The Weather Channnel.... They had no mention of rain so we got a little wet (soaked) on the way up.
Plus we had to ride the dreaded Driscoll bridge in the rain. For those of you who do not know this bridge, it is around six lanes wide each way and people show no mercy - rain or shine.

I haven't Posted yet, and I need to. First and foremost; THANK YOU, LIBERTY H-D/BUELL!!! You guys really know how to throw a party! I really enjoyed the food, and I especially liked the cake(s). I finally got to meet a lot of people who I knew only by their Badweb handles; Chellem, Ulywife, Greenlantern, 08Uly, Jaimec, Polish Assassin and everyone else whose name I can't think of right now. I also got to see people who I have met in the past; Mutation Racer (Anthony C), M2nc (Carlos), Court, Froggy, Imonabuss, Henrick and Don Cichocky (who I haven't seen since Jay Hawley was still running the ATC). If I met you and I forgot your name, please forgive me; my memory isn't what it could be. It was a mixed up kind of day, with an assortment of ups and downs. The unpredicted rain was a bit of a down, and the news about the fire at Erik Anderson's house was a real down. The event was a definite Up, though; in spite of the downs. I had a wonderful time. Chellem; Don't try to top it next year. I don't think you can. If you have everything the same (minus the rain) it would still be a great time. (And now I know to go lighter on some of the food items so that I can eat more of that Beef Enchilada dish) I couldn't ask for a better way to celebrate my Birthday! |

Well, let me second or third the many thanks to Liberty, Chellem, Moose, Tom, Anthony and everyone else that no doubt worked hard to make it a great event. I cheated and took the train, but the 2 minute walk from the station, in light drizzle none the less was "killer" Great to put more faces with Badweb handles, and like John (Crusty) it was a kick to meet up with Buellers I first met in '98 - '99 when I'd bought my first Buell. Great memories from Guggenheim trip, IMC meets etc. And Court - thanks for the shirt - really, that was very thoughtful of you. Henrik |
