Was looking into motorcycle covers options for me. There's no garages at my barracks so bike has to be outside. Well, winter is coming soon and the simple pull over cover isn't going to cut it for me. I've heard of these covers that you pull the bike onto and then pull over. They're supposed to be able to handle high winds (like the ones a blizzard would make) and I think they would work really well for me. Can anyone give me the links to them? | ||

I've heard of these covers that you pull the bike onto and then pull over. Yea they're called tents....... at least that's what my brother uses for his Valkyrie. I thought that it was a pretty good idea when I saw it. He cut out the dividers on the inside so he could drive the bike right in. | ||

Cycle Shell was the one I was looking for. Though Bike Barn looks good too. Now, I've heard the Cycle Shell has had reports of it handling 70+ mph winds. Is this true and is it turn for Bike Barn? | ||

Now, I've heard the Cycle Shell has had reports of it handling 70+ mph winds The person who sells and manufacturers the cover told me, on the phone, he's been told they survived hurricane force winds in Florida. I've had no problems with 50-60 mph typical thunderstorm gusts. | ||

But, if you got climate controlled, you're bike would be, safe, and not have nearly the potential for rust to set it. You wanna keep that thing nice don't ya?!? It's worth it. If I didn't have a garage you bet your ass I'd have it in storage (and still get it out) LOL...=) From a fellow service member. | ||
