I was at the IMS in Seattle today. There were two Buell engineers (that I met anyway). I was asking questions about valve adjustments - and one of the engineers was called over by the booth "babe". He said he did not work on this platform and was not sure of the details of my answer. I asked him what platform he worked on - he pointed behind me (at a display of brand X dirt bikes). He said the project was cancelled. As for me - I am OK with that. I love my Buell's and am almost an exclusively street rider. But if the motor company made a true dirt bike, (sigh) would have to consider adding a sixth bike to my stable. | ||
