Just want to publicly thank Buell and all involved for the VIR track day. It was professional at all times, well done and frankly, an absolute BLAST! A special thank you to Steve, Gary and David for helping on old, slow, tuber rider find his way around the track. The opportunity to ride the 1125R was a special bonus. Great bike, smooth, fast and quick. As a heads up though, if you do a track day and ride something that doesn't belong to you MAKE sure it is adjusted close to where you can ride it. The 1125R I happened to ride was way out of adjustment, no clutch to speak of, and a 1/2" of throttle play. Not a lot of fun to be looking for where the throttle will be on a track like VIR. Still, I came away very impressed. Whoever came up with the idea of throwing preproduction bikes at the motorcycle public to run the heck out of should be commended. A great time, highly recommended. Do it again! |
