Ok I bought an `06 upper inner air box. and I'm contemplating 3 ways I'd like to crack it open: 1.- Dremmel out the jailcell...
2.- Old muscle car with the wingnut holding the lid down...
3.- Put some white LEDs inside the airbox, and cut out either "Buell" or the Pegasus logo. And cover it with a translucid blue lid.
Now I got that Idea from a picture that was of someones non-translucid lid, where they cut out thebadge lines of the word "Buell", as seen in pic 4.

I'm really feeling the pegasus logo on both sides... PLUS the LEDs. Assuming your airbox cover is debadged and translucent, that'd look pretty badass I think. ~Dunte |

I'm going with a translucent blue lid, what color LEDs? I'm thinking white would be my only option for best visibility. |

Does your state allow you to run with these lights on? Otherwise it's alot of work just to have it sit around and glow? |

The pegasus cutout gets the nod for style, but the hotrod wingnut method is probably the most functional. It all depends on what you are going for with your bike. I went with the wingnut style that isn't the right choice for everyone. |
