Well, all of my previous bikes spit up a lot if you overfilled it to anything past halfway up the dipstick. What amount are you filling to? |

my bike used to puke a little, maybe a couple of tablespoons in a 1000 miles. took it to a mechanic because my rotor decided to explode, i told him about the puking. said it was a $2:00 seal in the area he would be working.. all fixed no puke!! |

Consider the XB rocker covers, they are a different look, pretty cheap, and cut back on the puking. |

Dyer is right, I got about 7000 miles on my buell x1. It hardly has put much of anything into the air cleaner. Never had any drips come out or anything like that. There is mist of oil now on the stock intake tube after 2000 miles. At 5000 I changed the rocker box gaskets and the breather rubber. Never had a problem here. YOU NEED a rocker box gasket kit and a intake wrench, intake and manifold seals and some heat to get the manifold off the rubber gaskets. (Message edited by mmmi_grad on September 13, 2007) |

My X1 spit oil from day 1 I changed to the XB valve covers and it almost solved it. |
