Going over the old 98 S1W it was time to replace the front rotor.....as has been posted several times they are $300 or more. I happened to have a rotor I got when I bought the S1W front end for my Sportster so I decided to use it. After installing it I found that this rotor didn't have the screws and washers holding the rotor to the carrier, instead the brake drive pins are held on with circlips....the screws and spring washers will not fit. Is this a later rotor with improvements and everything is kosher or am I missing something ?? |

Excellent, thank you very much.....may have saved me from severe road rash or worse. It seems my bike was already updated so I will see if I can purchase the drive pin kit from Buell. |
