Is the Buell Tuber 02 sensor a standard narrow band 02 sensor? Will a universal single wire 02 sensor work in place of it? I am getting a check engine light for the 02 sensor after about 10 minutes. ECM spy shows the voltage for the 02 sensor and it looks to be in the right voltage range. This would seem to indicate the the ECM is reading the 02 sensor, I'm thinking the sensor is just slow to react because its old and rusty. Thanks |

Make sure your headers are tight and that the sensor wire didn't rub through to metal somewhere. My X1 has done both of those on a few occasions. |

Thanks, And just for reference, you can infact use an unterminated "universal" sensor. But the 12014 is cheaper and comes with the proper plug. |
