I installed my D&D exhaust on the bike and now the chin faring that was on the bike before doesn't fit back on. When I bought the bike it already had the Carbon Fiber chin faring installed so I don't know where it came from but it fit and was mounted correctly on the old Buell Race Muffler. Once I installed the D&D the mounting holes don't even come close to matching up. Any suggestions? |

Trade that ol' carbon fiber chin to me for my stock one, it should fit You may just have to fab up something. Without seeing it, it's hard to say what you might be able to do. How handy are you? |

I could do the fab work to make new brackets but I don't have the machines to do it. And I doubt you want this on it is cracked and looks pretty bad, but that is just in the center behind the tire the sides are fine. I wonder if they sent me the wrong D&D exhaust. Do the XB9S and the XB12S have different mounting locations for the chin faring? |

I *think* D&D only has one muffler for the Buells. And I doubt you want this on it is cracked and looks pretty bad, but that is just in the center behind the tire the sides are fine. Post a picture, if you're thinking about trading. I can live with some damage. |

Is the Torco clamp hitting the inside of the chin? not that I would know from personally experience or anything... |

No, the chin faring mounting holes don't match up with the mounting holes on the D&D. The two in the front line up but thats it. |

When I swapped to a City X fairing, I had to get some vise grips after the right side bracket and give it a slight twist to make my D&D fit. Mine was only off about 1/8". I also started in the front, kept everything loose and worked my way towards the back. |

This is like way off. One of the holes on the right side lines up and the front lines up but the one on the left is a few inches off and the other is not even where the fairing covers. |

Wow, if it's a few inches off, that sounds more like they sent you the wrong part. Maybe they sent you one for a tuber. I'd call the customer service rep and see if they can help you out. |
