I read a review that said the seat was still comfortable after 150 miles. It looks like a stock Firebolt seat. Either you guys changed it or the reviewer has a tougher butt than me! Has it been changed at all? |

It looked exactly like the stock Firebolt seat to me in person. I've done 500 mile days on the stock Firebolt seat and it was ok but I rate the Buell Custom seat far better. And if I'm not wrong it fits the 1125! |

And if I'm not wrong it fits the 1125! I hope so, the best thing that I did for my Lightning is swap seats for the Select model...Firm=better seat for me. Wonder how long it will take non-Buell aftermarket seats to hit the market. Hopefully by next years riding season... |

Fresno, If you plan on buying one of the first CA models, call Corbin the minute you get it. If they haven't had access to one before that you might get a free seat out of the deal. G. |

I hope to have the first one here in the Central Valley, however I believe Corbin is probably SoCal based and will probably have bikes in the area before or at least about the same time....but nothing is for sure about delivery, so I will try to remember to give 'em a jingle when the bike comes in.. |

Corbin used my bike to make the V-Strom seats and smuggler tail trunk. In fact, it's my bike on Corbin's website that's featured in all the V-Strom photos. The initial agreement was to have my bike 8-9 weeks. They wanted to get it just right and make sure it worked with my topbox so they ended up with it for almost 12 weeks. I'm not complaining, they had my consent and they kept me informed throughout the process. I did receive a new front seat, rear seat, backrest and smuggler tail trunk... gratis. If the Fahrbolt stuff already fits, it may be moot, but if you can handle being without your bike for a couple months, consider it. |

Corbin is closer than you think...they are just outside of Hollister That is very cool as one of my favorite rides (Hwy 25) takes me right into Hollister. That is a MUCH MUCH better ride than down to SoCal. |

However, now reading Danny's post, i don't think I could be without a bike for weeks on end--even in the winter. And Anony's post that the Firebolts parts fit, make everything moot. Interesting idea tho |
