I have been looking into getting some new gear and was thinking I would get more use out of a two piece suit then a one piece. What do you all think this one? Its a big investment and I don't want a piece of junk. Any pointers with sizing? http://newenough.com/protective_apparel/leather_ra cing_suits/alpinestars/sg1_two_piece_motorcycle_ra ce_suit.html |

I would recommend going to a shop and trying some on before ordering. Alpinstars size 47 is different than Frank Thomas, and that is different from Dainise, etc..... Now that said, I have a one piece A-Star and love it, the fit for me is great, build quality is great, pretty dang comfy too. But it is still a one piece, great for track days. For local commuting with lots of stops I wish I had a two piece. When you take a break you are STUCK in the dang thing or have to have it dangling down below you like some nuclear accident left you with two upper halves. |

12R - Thanx for the input, Im not to sure where I can go around me to get fitted and try on different brands. there aren't that many stores around me that carry good gear like that. I read there return / exchange policy and it seams like they will work with me if it doesn't fit right. |
