Hope I didn't steel these from anybody on here, but I just picked this setup up from the bay:  A bit more than I was hoping to spend, but still cheaper than the simple peg risers would've been (after I added the shifter and such) and they should work better than the risers. | ||

Those rearsets are the shizzle. Do kids still say that? You might have to trim away at the tailpiece a little for boot clearance. | ||

Based on the mods listed in your profile, I expect you will enjoy them immensely! Myself, I didn't care for the riding position, they were too high and racy. I took them off my bike, turns out I don't even touch the pegs in their stock position. The shifter and brake pedal I kept on, of course, added the bronze bushing on the shifter too. I have some 'leftover' Storz pegs to go with your setup, if you're interested. | ||

DJ...I think you may be intending to utilize the term, "schizznit", as "schizzle" is the Doggizzm for "sure". I.E.- "Fo' schizzle, my nizzle...dem' Bizzanke sets be da schizznit, dogg!" Mad props on your attempt to "keep it real" though, my homeboy!  "This has been another edition of "Street 101" from your homey, Tizzorqe Mizzonstah." Thanks guys! I was a bit worried about how racey they are, but you guys are making me feel a lot more comfortable about my purchase! I recieved them today, and plan on installing them this evening. I got this part with the kit, and can't seem to figure out where it goes.  Thoughts? Hopefully it will be obvious when I'm installing the parts. Also I have to move the rear master cylinder. A simple easy bend is all I need for that metal tube correct? Anything special? In responce to some of the other posts: I didn't get the WP shock, I've had one of those since March Badness. I'm pretty versatile as far as riding position goes. If I plan another long ride with my father and friends (aka: slow Harley's) I will probably swap the OEM setup back on. I've flattened out the peg feelers on the pegs where they are now, so I'm really looking forward to the newly acquired ground clearance. Hopefully I'll learn to take advantage of it at Mid Ohio in Oct. | ||

Alright... finished the install last night, and test rode today. Definitely a big difference. Problem now is that it appears the rear pegs are going to be useless! This is a fairly big problem, as I ride two up often. I'll have to test it out with the girlfriend later. Seems to be a little more stable through high speed high lean corners. The brake and shifter feel is 10 times better. Shifts felt solid and perfect every time, and there must be an adjustment in leverage, because it actually feels like the rear brake has some stopping power now! | ||

Rode with the girl on the back for the first time with the rearsets yesterday. It was not bad at all. As long as she was on the balls of her feet... My feet didn't touch hers no matter where I put them. I'm starting to get used to how high these are, but I'll have to wait for my new tires before I can test them on a decent length ride. I'm past the wear-bars on my current Bridgestones, any day now I should be finding some cords. These are the first tires I've ever had (on any bike) where the front actually wears pretty consistanty with the rear. Normally in the past, I'll get 2 rear tires for every front. I've got a set of Conti Road attacks and Sport Attacks on the way. I'll throw the sport attacks on there first, for my track day, then I'll swap out to the Road attacks, and save the Sports for another track day. Life is all about know the right people......... I'm getting these 4 tires for less than the retail price of 1. Oh, kinda got off track there. I'll go snap a couple pictures of the rear sets... | ||

Very nice! Did you look into Jayvee's storz pegs? Losing the rubber pegs would compliment the new hardware nicely, but that just my .02- Congrats bro. |
