Oh man.... someone talk me out of this. I'm just glad that my skills are too bad to justify my getting the 1125. In a couple years? We'll see! I can definitely say, seeing the 1125 has completely deflated any Tuono or Superduke ideas I may have been entertaining... (Message edited by jc000 on August 21, 2007) |

Coal, I'm not sure how other dealerships do it, but we will never take a deposit on a motorcycle without having a Buyer's Order written up. This way, we can track your deposit and you have some "proof" that you are in line for a motorcycle. I'd call the dealership back, and have them right a Buyer's Order for you. |

Thanks Bonjoxb12s I went back and got the explanation that the 1125 is not in the "system" yet and therefore they cannot write up orders. The cycle that supposedly is mine is the one which was ordered at the dealer show. He said its yours when it comes in. The second I hear about deliveries I'll be going back. I'll either have a refund or an official order. Can you confirm if the system allows orders to be placed yet? I'm supposedly getting one which is already ordered, but all I have is a receipt that says nothing about what I'm entitled to. Is there a way for them to track their order yet? I figured there would not be until the ides of October. |

Coal..... they dont have to have the bike "in their system" to take a deposit. All Orders should be hand written and signed by you, meaning a computer listing the motorcycle as "in system" is a mute point. If the particular dealer does dealer trades they should take a deposit before going to get the motorcycle.... obviously those bikes arent "in their system" either, as another dealer will show that motorcycle in inventory. They can write any bike they want on those forms, and your signature is proof of their order. I'm not sure how the ordering works, as I do not deal with ordering. I would however strongly suggest you get something from them signifying your deposit on an 1125r... for your protection, as well as the dealerships. Right now it sounds like the dealer is just too lazy to accommodate you as the customer. I would go back and request that they make it right, or pull your deposit. There are several sponsors on here who would love to provide you with the best possible experience. |
