so heres the short and sweet version: i changed out the air filter, ecm, and muffler on my '06 city. i was kinda dissapointed after because i lost a ton of low end.....but then i realized i had a wicked exhaust leak between header and muffler, once sealed bike ran amazing. no more power loss and no popping on decel. but my idle dropped to about 900rpm and bike began stalling at stops. while out riding a few days ago i got pissed enough to pull over and turn up my idle to right about 1050-1100 according to tach. should this be ok or should i do another TPS reset then adjust the idle. just not sure if the leak messed with the original reset? thanks to all |

1050-1100 should be ok. If it runs to suit you , i wouldn't bother with the reset. Obviously if it keeps on stalling at stops and/or running poorly, you need to have it reset. |

Takes less than 5 minutes to reset so why not do it and have no more questions? The leak most likely upset your AFV. I would reset TPS, AFV and be done with it. |

Yup what Hammer says is true, Be done with it! Why make something so simple difficult? Although you had to get pissed to turn up the Idle, so I am here to piss you off more! Now do the damn TPS & A/F reset! I saw some yellow lines in the road today...Hammer you ridding near my house? |
