All 08's come stock with powerbands I hear. No more having to go to the dealer to get one installed. I remember hearing a guy say he had a 'factory' powerband installed by a dealer once. I hope he didn't get overcharged for the good stuff}. |

I'm just taking a survey. Does everyone check their pneumatic fluid before each time you ride? |

i used to work at summit racing equipment. we sold custom wheels. i had a guy on the phone ordering a set of stock car racing wheels one time and he tells me he needs 2 15x8 Bart racing rims. i ask for the bolt pattern, he gives it to me. then i ask for the back space he needs (measurement from back of wheel mounting rim to outer edge of inboard bead). he pauses for a second and sez, "not sure how much back space i need, i'll just take the rims and get the back space locally." |

not a joke-I work at autozone part time(to fund my bike habit!) any way.. this lady comes walkin in and wonders around the tool aisle. after a few minutes she comes to the counter, amidst a full store of customers, and says that her husband has sent her there to find a 'CockSocket'. I told her I had never heard of that so she proceeded to tell me that he told her that it should have brillo like material on the base, be long cylindrical, and the opening should be 1.5 to 2.0 inches, but maybe something smaller might work. Well after everyone stopped laughing, we had to explain to her what he was doing and she called him. She was still cussing him as she walked out the front door....! |

No kidding. A girl who works with me asked last week, if she needed to change the steering fluid in the little black box next to her throttle grip on her motorcycle? Friggin Scary!
