Here is link to a post with list of the part in a Buell tach kit for a 2000 M2 (fits others older and newer too): http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=3842&post=503118#POST503118 And if you save and print these six images and then print them on letter sized paper, they are the parts list and instructions for the above mentioned kit (they will not be very readable until you print them): http://users.adelphia.net/~jackerbes/Buell/tach_1. jpg http://users.adelphia.net/~jackerbes/Buell/tach_2. jpg http://users.adelphia.net/~jackerbes/Buell/tach_3. jpg http://users.adelphia.net/~jackerbes/Buell/tach_4. jpg http://users.adelphia.net/~jackerbes/Buell/tach_5. jpg http://users.adelphia.net/~jackerbes/Buell/tach_6. jpg The Knowledge Vault knows it all... Explain Court...... If it was available in 97-98 model's. Why was it not in 99 and 2000. In 2001 the bike became standard with the tach kit on the bike so it was then available in kit form for the consumer??? You need to elaborate please. Show n tell??? |

I'm writing my ass off and the "Tale of the Tach" MUST be included. . . perhaps one of the funniest "ka-chink" Buell stories ever!

It's in the 1998 catalog. I thought so, that's how I got the tach kit in '99 then. (Message edited by steveshakeshaft on September 02, 2007) |

Thats great Steve. Now why not available in 99 and 2000. I went through this personally back in 2000. Nothing till 2001. I miss that bike some.

So the consensus is that the story of the M-2 TACH KIT needs to be in the book? I'll be finishing the chapter on "Special Buells" next Saturday and have all the info for the tach kit except one special picture and I know where to get that. What says . . . in or out? |

IN!!! I had a 1998 Buell M2 Cyclone and it was a great ride. I wish I still had it for a second ride. Many great riding times, even though I almost killed myself on it when I crashed it. |

In. I added a tach kit to my 2000 M2 after I got it in 2005. A wonderful and non-trivial modification. Jack |
