Anybody have a 41mm seal driver I can borrow? Was changing tires and figured i would do the fork also. Thanks, David Bird |

An alternative suggestion given to me was to use a 1.5-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, with the edge taped up and/or filed down to reduce the sharpness of the edge. Unfortunately, I cannot speak to how well it works because I have yet to use it; but I will soon! |

I made one out of PVC pipe for my old yamaha worked great. and it only cost about a dollar. |

So what does it actually look like? There is a diagram of it in the Service Manual, but it is not too clear to me. |

It is a split unit because the inverted forks don't have a way to slide the driver over the tube like non-inverted forks. The driver is heavy so it can hammer the seal into place. It is satisfying to hear the clunk change tone when you have driven it home.
