So everyone meets at Autotech in the AM, and then after the run, the bike wash, etc. is in Newtown - is that how it goes? |

Hey Kyle, there's places all around us! Also check out the NEBO crew, they are a good bunch to ride with, but pretty much you'll find yourself heading north into the hills. You could also take a trip across the sound via the ferry, but thats not really what I'd call riding. |

Welcome to the area, Kyle. I'm in Orange, on the other side of New Haven. You have to ride a little bit to get some good twisty roads, I'm sure others can give you some ideas. When I have more time, I'll post some ideas. |

Spent the fourth riding in the rain..all afternoon! As long as I kept the revs up, it was fine but it didn't want to idle and just off idle was a bit rough. Hope it dries out and runs as it did before. Anyone else dare to ride in the rain yesterday? |

I think it was last friday, I spent a few hours in the rain to see if the dealer fixed the problem I was having with the bike when wet, and it seems they did. I still got some pulsing on the front brake, but its not as bad as before the 5k service. That reminds me, I need to make an appointment for my 10k soon, I hit 8k the other day. |

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem with their headlight as I do. I had to ride through Newtown last night on back roads, and was basically riding blind(scary thing on twisty roads in deer country). I would hate to have to add some dorky looking light bar or something. Any remedies? |

Sounds like a good question for the Knowledge Vault. I am not sure, it seems to me that from what I have heard, folks were pretty pleased with their light coverage on their Uly. Not having one though, I really can't help ya. =( I do remember reading in Fuell I think that they did have an effective aftermarket PIAA light setup, but it sounds like you don't want to go that way. I was going to try a couple of Sylvania Silverstars before I changed anything on my CityX, sure you could give it a try, too. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/Automotiv eLighting/HighPerformance/Silverstar/ Here's a thread from the XB board: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/286659.html?1182741008 |

The Ulysses headlights suck. I got a lightbar to mount some PIAAs, but i've been cheap and haven't bought them yet. |

I'm still on the fence about the 1125. I dislike the watercooling, DOHC, non harley motor, and both headlights on. |

Any one up for a nice ride Saturday morning? I'm going up towards Hunter Mountain and the more the better. It would be an all day affair so you need an open calendar. |

I'm working on a Google map to make the route. I'll post it up when its done. Hunter is over in the Catskill area in NY. Nice big open roads with long sweeping curves. |

It brings new meaning to the term "StreetFighter" We did a route very similar to that Google image I posted. I had to be back in the city for a 7pm birthday party so after the ride, Froggy came along with me. We had just enough time for a quick city ride. After all that I'm back at my mom's because I have to be at a Bachelor party in Fairfield Sunday. |
