Got a slew of random parts acquired in the restoration of my '05 xb9sx, so time to clear out the shed! Some came in batches of parts off ebay, and hence I have little to no idea what fitment some are. If curious, I can send pics of whatever to help with the ID. Here' s list of what's available before I post it to ebay this week's end: OEM style brake or clutch lever - silver XB Rider pegs set XB Passenger pegs with springs, balls, plate One blue "cheese grater" insert XB Stock "Mickey Mouse" Mirrors One wrapped Turn signal, probably pre-XB One rightside Firebolt rider peg (straightbar) One Leftside lightning rider peg (1" dropdown) One pre-XB rider peg, maybe cyclone or similar One right side passenger mount with heelguard - No40602a8 part# stamped One fair condition XB9SCG Rear Shock (yellow spring) - this was bought off ebay to try the lowering idea, but without doing the whole front and kickstand - it just makes an odd combination of geometries - and I have an abused license plate to prove it. It is fully functional, but has two cosmetic blemished. First is the top of the reserve underseat where it was accidentally drilled\ground away in a half moon. The interior was never violated, hence it works fine if not a bit fugly. Secondly - the rear spring rebound set screw is stripped a fair bit and requires a very fat, very short flathead to set or if you've got the gear to release the spring's potential energy, then it's a simple cheap swapout part. I'll send pics of whatever requested directly instead of posting a half dozen pics on here. Thanx and Namastae! Daniel |
