I have received a few emails in regards to getting together again in WV from some of the March Badness Buellers. So here it is When: August 17TH, 18TH & 19TH Where: North Bend State Park http://www.northbendsp.com/ Why: WHY NOT! Great roads, Lodge, Camping, or Cabins. There is no Dealer support at this time and I don't think there will be unless we can get SMHD to travel north. Thanks again to Clown and SMHD for all the hard work you guys put into March Badness. I WILL be back next year. Hope to see ya in WV!! |

Wolf, I'll mark it on my calendar. If we can get the time off, we'll be there. Sounds like a great time... |

Can't get away during the summer(work in a resort town). But W.V. is definitely on my list for a spring and/or fall run. I did the Harpers Ferry area last fall and had the time of my life. Am looking at going a little further west or south in the state on my next trip. The MB guys will be impressed with the roads. SteveH |

I will be in the Caanan Valley, the weekend prior to those dates at a Concours Owners Group rally. I'll see if I can scare up some good route sheets. |

I have a small group doing a 3 day WV trip in June. There are some great roads in that area...16, 47, 74. You ohio riders should check out http://www.coreriders.com/ it's a good group of experienced, sport riders that get together for weekend rides to SE OH, and WV. |

I haven't seen any drama lately, but every group has it's characters. It's a good group overall. |

Hah! It'll be a 3000 mile trip (and we're trailering! Riding would add ANOTHER 3000 miles! Now you now why I desperately want to find a tire that will LAST! (Pilot Roads, here I come!) |

Hey Mike, you ever think about the Pirelli Diablo Strada? http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/Product.asp /ProdID/116383/ImageName/PIRELLIDIABLOSTRADA.jpg&K itkey2=DIABLO%20STRADA&Brand=PIRELLI&Class2=Tires% 20and%20Wheels&Class3=Street%20Tires&Class1=STREET %20PRODUCTS |

The Diablo Strada and the Metz Z6 very similiar (same carcass I think) are both very good tires. I'm on my 3rd Z6 rear and get 5000-5500 miles. Pilot Roads will give you a little more mileage but won't grip as well. I've been hearing very good things about the Continental Road Attack, it's supposed to grip better than the Z6 and last longer too. I will be mounting one in about 500 miles. http://www.canyonchasers.net/reviews/accessories/r oad-attack.php http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/163519.html?1134890666 |

I have family and property around Buckhannon and travel across 50 when I go there from Cleveland where my parents live. That is usually the time of year that we are on vacation in that area so I will mark the calendar for those dates. It sounds a little close to when the kids go back to school, but I'm hoping not. I would love to tour WV on the Uly. My favorite state + my favorite bike makes for one hell of a good time. I'll try my hardest to bring a NM Uly to the WV mountains. |

At noon today, this page will be moved to the Storm Fronts. I'm giving until noon, so the page won't seemingly disappear without everyone knowing where it went. Sounds like a good time fellas. Wish I could make it, but there's simply no way. Wolf, the Strada is a great tire. |

Buckhannon is very well situated for some awesome riding. If you continue on Rt. 50 until you hit the Atlantic Ocean, you will be in my neck of the woods. I have some W.V. maps I got from www.moto-maps.com, they have a nice loop thru Buckhannon, Clarksburg, Washburn, about 170 miles. SteveH |

One of my favorite routes is 20 off of 79 at Nutter Fort thru Buckhannon to the Game Farm and take a left. Follow that road thru the left fork to head thru Czar into Helvetia and then over the hill thru High Germany into Mill Creek. From there you can head back a few different ways. Absolutely gorgeous country. Have to watch out for the log trucks and coal trucks in a few places, but well worth it for the greatness of the ride. |
