I get no respect. ;) Transcription is tough enough by itself; doing it while treating your girl to a weekend in Dallas while leaving the laptop home and then spending time with the in-laws, hordes and hordes of in-laws, is a whole other ordeal. I'm still recuperating. Cut a poor guy some slack eh? | ||

Do what I do . . . I used digital ( Zoom ) 4-track and "outsource". Comes from years of carrying a Lanier dictaphone and dropping off the tapes to my secy every morning as I walked in the door. Transciption is like sheet rock . . . you can never do it yourself, as tempting as it is . . . as you can have it done. But . . . you ARE an engineer. | ||

You all had best be careful or he'll figure out a way to just attach an audio file that begins to play every time you log onto BadweB, remembers when you last logged in and starts playing where it left off for you, and won't stop until you've heard the whole thing, then won't let you check for messages until you pass a comprehension test to confirm that you heard the whole thing, then will play back the portions of the parts you got the answers wrong on the quiz, then will give new quizzes with slightly modified questions for you to take, and on and on and on until you've passed the test with a functional 100% score, then he'll post the compiled results down in the BackFireBoard section showing how many people have completed the interview testing complete with an analysis of how long it took you to listen to the complete interview, how long it took you to answer the questions, and how many times you had to repeat sections, then there will be a cross-board chart configured as either a bar chart or a pie chart showing how you compare to the composite BadweB community. Be afraid, be very afraid.  | ||
