For all who have inquired I will take $575 + $25 shipping within the Contiental US. This pipe is a Pro Series w/Pro Series Muffler and is just like new. See pics on the link above to see how nice it is. |

Well what is a good price then? They were(discontinued item) $519 for the header new and $419 for the muffler new. So for something you can no longer buy and I have yet to find one like this in this shape to compare it to. How much should it be??? |

Funjimmy - have you noticed what these are going for these days ? The early race header, when and if it comes up on e-bay or anywhere else goes for $3-350 (used - not going to find new ones anymore).. and the race muffler - has gone for around $150 or so (2 in the past month that I have seen)- that is for used as well ... He's not too far off with his price in the condition it's in ... Yea it sucks but that is what the market is on them ... |

I cant seem to get a straight answer as to whether or not an S1 system will fit on an X1. I was told that an X1 wont fit an S1 but a S1 would fit an X1. Anybody? |

I believe you are right, S1 system will fit an X1 ... X1 will for sure NOT fit an S1 ... BUT - An X1 has O2 sensor which the S1 does not .. so it would require welding in a bung for the O2 sensor... |

Another thing to consider is this Pipe + Muffler + Ignition + Air Cleaner combo was around $1200 when new. What he is asking for this pipe+muffler is very fair. And below original retail for a pipe that is not available any longer. Look at what the XB race kits are going for on ebay. Up to DOUBLE the original MSRP. |

I’m in denial. You’re right. Admittedly it is in excellent shape. This system has been discontinued for quite some time and it ‘IS’ the system to have. Guess I’m just used to ebay prices for the stock stuff. Smart A$$ comment retracted! Cheers Jimmy |

S1 and X1 headers are NOT interchangable. The S1 rear pipe goes over the frame tube. The X1 rear pipe goes under the frame tube (and the frame has a bend in it to accommodate this). The muffler should be interchangable though (both 21/2" inlet). HellBuelly J |

Would you consider selling just the muffler for $150.00? |

buellerthanyou; are you 100% certain??? IIRC they would work one way but not the other, either older style headers fit new tubers or new style will fit early tubers....someone knows for sure...i have asked and it has been answered before. but of course i don't remember!!! |

Thanks Steve. I was unaware that the older style would clear the newer frames. HellBuelly J "I never, ever ignore the speed limit. If my speedometer says the speed limit is 140, I won't go a mile per hour over that. To do so would be reckless and irresponsible." --"Billzebub" Bessonette |
