Why oh why is everyone clamoring for something "else"...when we haven't even seen the damn thing in person yet? ...well, the vast majority of us, anyway.... <sigh> |

Cause I ain't ready to buy anything now. Might as well pine for the next lady to come along. Plus, I KNOW I want a slightly more upright seating position. and I prefer the smaller fairing. |

I am done super sport biking. If I wanted to play superman splayed out on a tank then I would still be in my old ZX12 Kawi, its just not comfortable for me for day to day rides, which is how I use my bike. Now for a track day, I bet she is dead on right ergos. ;) |

yeah.. someone asked me not even 3 weeks ago if I'd get another buell.. I said probably not, been there, had that, dont get me wrong, it was a great bike and I loved it. I just dont think I'd go back to what I've already had. Then they do this. If asked the same question, I'd have to say "yes, I'd get a new buell" damn the luck tho, I now have a 2month old baby girl at home. do they take trade-ins? lol there was a photochopped 1125's' I saw somewhere on here and I liked it. |

ahh. I havent seen that one. I think it looks ok with the scoops. they'd need to change up the front and tail a bit (not a xb copy)and then its a open canvas! |

Why oh why is everyone clamoring for something "else"...when we haven't even seen the damn thing in person yet? Because, I'm getting old and my knees and back don't appreciate the hunched over position but my mind and soul still love the Buell. I need an "S" model. As far as the scoops being on a naked bike, someone else made the suggestion Buell make them translucid. Sounds like a great idea to me. |

As soon as Liberty gets it's first "S", I'm there! Anthony C - make a note - in cherry bomb translucid. |

I have been shopping for a new bike and have been swithering between the 1098 and the MV Brutale I almost told the girl at ducati Miami to reserve me a Brutale well I guess she will get over it although it is nice to go to a dealership and be treated like a customer and not just one of those guys who rides those funny crotch rocket things in the corner |

For the same reason that my first test ride on the 2003 Firebolt was interesting, but not a grab me by the balls experience. Aesthetically I prefer my motorcycles naked. The speed triple, Ducati Monster, and Buell Lightning are comfortable all day standard motorcycles. The R model is a super-sport race replica style of bike that YOU may well enjoy, and I hope they sell a bunch of them. And then they can build an S model for me. |

there is bound to be someone who buys a 1125r and creates their own 's' just because they can. i hope they post pics here |

if you guys want to have a naked bike why dont yall just buy it and take off all the plastic. People have been doing this with other bikes for years, Buell and Ducati just made you guys lazy by doing it for you at the factory. |

With the radiators facing the direction they are, I would think the amount of air flow through them would significantly decrease without the scoops. The scoops are there for a reason. Maybe the aftermarket will come up with different looking ones, but I wouldn't just remove them. And if you remove them all together, what will happen in a simple tipover? Let along and actual accident? |
