I'm trying to find out where two of the four bumpers for the tail section bodywork are located. I can see two on the rear of the subframe in the parts manual but where are the other two? I'm attempting to install the carbon fiber tail section on my xb12r. One more thing, I tried to order a seat for the tail section but it is now unavailable through buell racing dept. is the seat just a stick on foam pad? |

The bumpers are located toward the front and rear of the subframe to keep the XBRR tail well supported. The front two are located in existing holes in the subframe; the rear will have to be drilled if you aren't using a factory modified XBRR subframe. The seat foam is not currently available (backordered, and perhaps for awhile), but any foam padding for a racing seat can be used, glued in place. Most of the 2006 XBRR riders wanted custom pads; most wanted a higher seat height than provided by the stock XBRR thin foam. |
