Thats about it, just need the oil amount for the fork. I'm about to replace the seal so I'm getting a head start, thanks. |

Never mind, please don't all chime in @ once, I got it. I pulled out right at this much and put back in right at the same amount. Poured it in a cup, marked said cup, cleaned and poured the same amount of new good oil back into said cup and then poured that into fork tube. |

Wayne, Do you have a service manual? It's all in there. If you don't have one, I'd suggest getting one, it's money well spent for a DIY'er like you. The procedure you used should work, but it isn't the way the manual would have you do it, and it isn't as accurate as the right way since there is always stuff remaining in each container when you pour it out.
