Man I feel sorry for you. Make one of the most exciting bikes in a long time and these "engineers" think they know about systems because someone told them they need a part to make their bike better. They can't see the snake oil for the trees. I love the article from trackdaymag.com that said... Look at it this way…. Unless your riding skill is on par with that of AMA, World Superbike, MotoGP etc. – it’s doubtful that you’ll ever truly out-ride the limits of any respectable stock track bike available on the market, including Buell’s 1125R. At the ametuer/club level of riding, it essentially comes down to the rider, not the bike. Did you get that? The rider, not the bike. You can ‘sup up your CBR, GSX-R, R1 or Ducati because you think it gives you a “leg up” on the competition. You can dump your life’s savings into replacing as many stock parts on your baby as possible to ensure you’re running the latest and greatest technology…. But reality is, a rider of world-class caliber could get on a stock version of your bike and leave you in the dust Let them spend some dough for nothing on their bikes if it makes them feel better. Some of them haven't even ridden the bikes and they want to put belt tensioner(s) and brake scoops on. This is just plain arrogance. It's get my fur all raised up. I suspect that is what they are looking for as well as trying to make them self seem wise and important. Sad really. Annoy, I hate to see you in a cage, but we all do really appreciate you making these bikes! So keep you head down, these thing will sell like Viagra in a old folks home! :-) Bear |

Wait a minute there Anony... what are you doing, going "back to your cage" at this time of night. Not only did y'all add a line, but you're running a night shift too? Don't sweat it Elves, there's a bunch of us out here, waiting for the chance to get our bikes and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Build away, we appreciate your efforts. Thank you, everyone at East Troy, for my birthday present. Z |

>but if we did it would be with the ZTL you mean ZTL2 I promise to ride my 1125R to MotoGPIndy, does that help? I know the 1125R scared the crap out of me the first time I grabbed the brakes. I can't wait to get one on the street and see if I can control it. |

I ride in the real world (ie; the street). According to all the Buell brochues I have, that is what these bikes are designed for. I've not had issues with the ZTL1, nor the brake on my S1W for that matter. They both work just fine and slow me down all I need. Buell elves, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! |

But when your doing what you love is it really work. I just got in from a 100 Mi ride on the trusty S1. Thanks for your hard work. S1Eric |

>>>>I'm betting it will only take 20 years or less I'd go with the less than 20 years. I suspect there is much about this bike we've yet to learn. |
