I'm halfway through a project to swap an XB12S shock for my Uly shock. Everything was smooth until I tried to find a place to put the remote reservoir. The 12S shock has a connecting tube about four times as long as the 12X shock so it wouldn't fit in the stock location. I have looked at exterior locations on both sides with no luck.

One possibility that is the most promising is to route the reservoir back to Uly's storage area. The problem there is the connecting tube is very slightly too short. If I realigned the banjo fittings on both the shock and reservoir, I think I would have enough length. I'm wary of doing that for the possibility of releasing any pressure in the system, leaking fluid from the system and/or letting air into the system.

HELP!
