Buell designed the motor, no matter who makes it... it is still a buell motor. Its like saying that that bridge you crossed on your way to work is Chinese because it is made using Chinese steel. |

if you got a heart transplant from a guy who rode BMWs, does that make you a BMW rider from then on? even if you didnt wear gray flip face helmets and funny gray jumpsuits with reflectors all over them? |

I wasn`t trying to be disrespectful or negative either , I was simply stating a fact. I guess I should relax. Maybe we should go back to calling it "Erik`s Land" . Kinda has a nice ring to it! |

Do we know for certain that these engines are not and will never be built here? It's changed now, but Land Rover bought the rights to use a Buick V-8 for their Discovery line. I'm pretty sure that the Land Rovers were NEVER considered a GM product. I'm pretty sure no Sportster builders were harmed in the making of the 1125R. |
