Has anyone installed the traction grips on a bike. What is up with the throttle grip? Do I need to replace the whole throttle grip and throttle assembly, or can I just peal off the grip?

It's an easier job than taking the left grip off the bars.

Thanks guys, I think it came to me last night. I will do it tonight and report back. (The left grip was a major Bi#$ch. The whole thing was glued and had to be scraped off. I was cursing up a storm!

The left grip is always difficult.
I just cut the left one off and peel as much of it off as I can.
Then I use a heat gun & a gasket scraper to get the remaining bits off.

The right grip is cake. HD and Buell are kind enough to sell their grips with the throttle grip pre glued to a new throttle barrel.

ok, project finished in under 20 minutes. the only difficult part was lining up the pin in the back of the switch housing on the right side with the whole in the handle bar. they look great, and I can't wait to ride to see how great they are.

thanks for the help
