Whats up with that? It just started to do this Sunday after my last fill up on my way home from Homecoming and it has done it a few time since. Where is the short? And how do I fix it? FYI 2006 ULY with about 17,000 miles on it. |

Stop riding up the hill, then down it, then back up, then back down |

Does it continue to do that after filling up? Is it just the light that comes on or does it include the fuel odometer counting up too? |

Does it continue to do that after filling up? This just started to happen after my last fill up so I guess my answer is yes. The light and fuel trip meter both come on and then after I ride awhile the both go off and then it does it again. |

Mine is currently doing it now too. I have an 06 Uly and my gas light is on all the time now. It went through the same progression as your to fully on as it is now. I haven't taken it to dealer yet..... Anybody got a clue? |

The sensor could be gummed up or faulty. I think the dealer would pull out the fuel pump and take a look at it. Bring it in if it is still under warranty. If not, the pump is not difficult to remove. Just remember to drain the tank first! I have a broken fuel pump at home. I'll take a loot at it to see if the sensor can be replaced w/out replacing the whole assembly. |
