Hey Guys Just curious as I was leaving the driveway this AM.. A Guy pulled up on a 999 KTM Street and whatever.... Anyways , I asked him a few questions about his bike etc, and He really has no clue what the engine is all about or anything.. Anyways it is a KTM and he said the engine is from Auss. etc.. Looks like it may be close to what the new 1125R is... Is the KTM using the same company that builds the engine for this new 1125R?? I know the engine is NOT the same just wondering about the company that builds them?? |

Nope; KTM builds their own engines. Rotax is a separate outfit. |

The RC8 will come out slightly later than than the V-Rod powered Buell. In other words, don't hold your breath. |

Rotax is made by Bombardier. The company that makes SeaDoo water craft and SkiDoo sleds. http://www.rotax.com/en/About.Us/History/ |
