I'll grow a long beard and piss and moan about "if it don't shake your nuts, it ain't a REAL Buell!" Sorry guys, random thought....GO BUELL!!!!!

Don't forget your tattoos and your log chain belt to go with your beard Creature

We're antique now. Our insurance just went down and the price just went up. I don't know, that front end just hasn't grown on me yet but everything else is bitchin'. I won't be looking at it from the front while riding anyway, right?

I know what you mean. I have always loved the S1 and X1 but I waited and bought an XB. I am guessing the Tuber guys felt the same way about the XB as I do about this 1125R.

I'm sure this new platform is good for business, a lot of people complained about the air cooled engine. I hated hearing the "I'd buy one if it was liquid cooled" or "if it had a higher redline"

I dislike things that are trendy. I don't know how to express what I'm feeling here. I'm sure there must be others who feel simular.?

Well, I hardly consider higher redlines and liquid cooling as "trendy." It's what most (if not all) of the high-performance bikes have had for awhile. It sure isn't going away.
It's also nice to finally see a Buell in that stratospheric category, don't you agree?
There's nothing wrong with air-cooled Buells. You'll still have plenty of those models to choose from, just like you can still buy an air-cooled Ducati.
I love the feel and sound from my XB, but let me tell you, Ducatis, Aprilias, RC51s and TL1000s also have a similarly pleasing vibe. It's just something special that V-twin sportbikes all share.

This is going to sound crazy... but I really believe the Sportster powered Buells (I don't care who says what, that's a Sportster engine in the XB) will be very collectible years from now.... kind of like XLCRs and XR1000s are. 'Cooking' engines do have their appeal.

I hope the whole Buell scene doesn't turn into an old school vs Rotax thing... but it's bound to happen. If there was ever a clear demarcation point in Buell evolution, this is it.

I want the an 1125R, but I won't be getting rid of the ol' Cyclone. It used to be the best motorcycle Buell ever made.
