There's one that's been on ebay for about a year. BIN is either 6250 or 7400, depending on which auction they are running. Claims to be all stock, "never titled", 900 or so miles. YMMV, but it does look clean. IIRC it's in the NE - VT maybe? |

yeah i won it on an auction he had. the guy faxed me a copy of the title. he never titled it, and wasn't going to. he re-listed it as a best offer/buy it now, and after two weeks, still hadn't sold it. the bmv wont let you jump titles, to get out of paying tax, in indiana so it was pointless to dick with it. i was gonna buy it for 5k at the end of the auction, claim a fraud deal on ebay and have a buddy get a mechanics lien title, but he said it had sold the previous day. so i'm still looking....thanks |

That yellow S1 on ebay that you speak of, I am now the new owner. Surprised he didn't take your $5k. After about 2 weeks of emailing back and forth, I offered him $4600 and we had a deal. After a 5 hour drive and him telling me the bike had no issues, I get there and find out the battery is dead. So we took off $200. Then I see someone else's name on the MSO! I was PISSED!! So I tell him no deal, I'm walkin. He lied to me and said the MSO was never signed. I gave him $2k and took the bike home along with copies of the MSO and an Original Bill of Sale from him. Told him when I get the title, I'll send the rest of the money. Well I got the title last week! What he wasn't lieing about is the bike is 100% original never touched with 966 miles on it. After I got it home I threw my trickle charger on it for an hour and the bike fired right up!

John, Josh, one of the techs at our shop, has a friend who is trying to sell his yellow S1. Don't know all the details, but I believe it has 9-10,000 miles. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get more info. Jay James M. Howze Central Texas H-D/Buell Austin, Texas 512-973-8521 ext 120 jhowze@centraltexasharley.com |
