How many people think this can be done? say i get a 2000-200? or whatever ninja or gsxr tail section, cut the mounting bars and re weld and finish to match up with an x1 frame, then bolt on, now im sure its gonna be a little more involved than that but i have faith that i could pull it off. any doubters or does anyone have a clue how it would look? |

There used to be a guy here who did that to his M2. It was in his profile pic. He did a good job. |

Why would you want to do that to an X1? |

Dude, you so stole my idea!! I thought about doing something similar to my X1. My idea involved using tubing about the diameter of the frame and custom building a tail section. I think it would look similar to this bike:
Please do that to your X1 and then post a bunch of pics! Chris |

It's been a few years since I saw that guy post but I think it was a black R6 tail he spliced onto his m2, he had to weld lugs on it but the x1 has 'em. Looked great, good lines between the tail and the manta style tank. |
