Well, a guy I know from another website actually raced and won.For those of you who watch the show, Tracy has a purple 65 Galaxie. The original guy he was supposed to race showed up with a car less motor, so Tracy got that car on default. Then he raced a guy in a Capri, if I remember correctly, and spanked him pretty good. So Tracy ended up with two cars, the 67 Comet he ended up putting a 390 in and the last I heard he wanted $8500.00 for it. Might still be for sale if anyones interested. Personally, I dont enjoy the show much anymore, too much pissin and moanin. |

Well, just put the cheater slicks on the Galaxie. 95% sure Ill be going to Da Grove on Tues. Dont have a clue what the car will run, never raced with slicks on. If anyone goes down and you see a 65 dark green Galaxie with a teardrop hood scoop on it and a old bald fat guy, that'll be me. |

So. When we gettin' a ride set up? Or do you people (who ever is left) not group ride anymore? U.P Michigan? Western Wisconsin (found a nice ride there via the internet)? Personally I enjoyed the group rides. I'm thinking a over night trip. Let me know if anyone is interested or if I'm Otherwise I'll start looking elsewhere. Later. Got to prep my driveway addition for concrete for the first weekend in June. If anyone wants to help....oh who the hell am I kidding. No one wants to ride with us. I doubt anyone wants to lend a hand with concrete even though there will be free food , soda and beer. |

I'd love to, but I'll be at Road America that weekend racing. Thanks very much for the offer. Keep an eye here, we may come up with something you'd be interested in. No Dana. But I hope EVERYONE can go. That would be great Mike. We'll have to talk about it. We can discuss it over a Pizza at BHF in June! |

Is it me, or you getting even MORE whiny in your old age? I wouldn't mind, and I'm sure most of Brew City wouldn't mind going for a ride as well. |

Coolice, Gonna show your face at Homecoming? If so, you can ride my "contraption". I'm machining up the Hella headlight brackets, and the brackets that will raise up the fairing mount tonight. But yes, it would be nice to go on a decently long ride. |

Coolice, What was that web sight you were telling me about again ?? GPS was great. Honestly we would of been real late without it. Only problem with mounting it to my bike there is no bar left on either side for a bar mount. May have to get the bar mount and mod it. |

Steve....challenged??? I guess when it comes to that crap I am also. I bought a Garmin Tom Tom 9 series. I have to figure out mounting. I have crossroad bars and there is NO room for anything other then the controls. So I guess mod some how. Coolice, Thanks I'll check them out. And no I didn't name it. |

What the hell? Let me brake it down. "Enjoy your GPS's" = I have one too and they're nice. "Maybe we'll see ya on the road"= Maybe we'll all run into each other while out for a ride." "Later"= Goodbye. See ya later" No more no less. Don't read so much into something.

The one I bought, is a MIO digiwalker 310X, A whopping $180. And I bought a bicycle mount for $12 that works like a charm. I plumb the sound from it in to my Autocom. So I don't even have to look down at the thing, and it still looks like I actually know where I'm going The Autocom was also a really good investment. Toni and I can now talk with each other on rides. I can listen to my Mp3 player, GPS, and even answer calls on my cell phone |

Dana, actually, all you need to do, is to pull the top triple tree, bring it over to me, we can drill and tap a hole in it for a RAM mount. Find the exact model # of your GPS, and you can find the one that fits your model http://www.ram-mount.com/ We can just drill and tap your top triple tree to fit this: http://65.102.174.116/rammount/productdetail.aspx? partnumber=RAM-B-238 |

Rocco, Sorry man,the wife was at work in the middle of the night and me I just thought you were grumpy. I didn't mean anything. Steve, Ok,lets get this straight. That is a universal ball mount for the correct mount for my Tom Tom 910?? Then drill two holes into my Cross Road top triple if you want to call it that for a mounting surface?? If that'll work awesome!!! |

Dana, yes, you've got it right. Just buy the mount for the 910, and the universal ball mount. Me, I'm going to end up machining up a top handlebar clamp that will incorporate the ball mount for my bike eventually. |
