I've been working on it.. I had a total computer failure and have been trying to get it back to normal. I had to re-image and now seem to be up and running.. however I've lost a lot of stuff (no pictures, they are stored on a dedicated drive that wasn't effected) and have to get my software back and then see if I can re-create my web page.. IF I can get the last of the software back in tonight.. I should be able to start trying to get it back up this weekend.. and then start posting.. I've got a lot of pics.. just can't get them online due to .. well.. Something MAC claims is so rare, they can say it doesn't happen.. I guess that means.. When a MAC goes tits up.. It really goes all out to do it better then any other type of computer hehehehehe.. (I'm trying to stay positive about this.. really I am) |

Would that be the power of pure unadulterated THUNDER rolling over them.. or.. dare I say it.. The chili from the day before? Sorry, just had to type it.. Mutant.. did you check out the 'pit - misc' pics yet? You may recognize a fan or two cheering for some mutant rider type guy. Sometimes, it's just cool too shoot some of those candids.. yes? I'll see Ya, the Delks and (if they come out for it) Pete & Seth and whoever else 'thumps' in.. uh.. two days? I should get down that way Thursday night. |

Hey Mutant it was good to meet you. I appreciate the support on my first race day. It was a blast I plan on being at Summit Point in Sept. |

For those of you who don`t know "Gold Rush" AKA Jerry Reid ran his 1st race weekend and if I am not mistaken was on the podium twice. Pretty good showing for a 1st race. As for the rest of you I will be sending you a bill for my mechanic duties. Just kidding Me and Josh had a great time even if we did have to go to wally world and buy some clothes to wear for sunday. Hey Jerry.. Where the heck did you pit at? I did my 'Big' pit walk Saturday and somehow missed seeing you altogether.. that is until you were on track and then I never figured out who or where you were.. Dang! Talk about corn-fusing.. Then, I see this one black Buell come out and run some smokin' laps for a first timer. (it was cool to see an Am plate in the ASRA Thunderbike race - Now, did they score you separately since you're a yellow plate? And does that mean you of course won that race?) You've got to keep up the good work! I look forward to getting you in my lens some more.. Summit Point? Or will I have to wait until the next VIR event? It was great having a chance to see all the great racing! Watching The Mutant take on the IL4's - and then Estock and James podium in the ASRA Thunderbike race (1st and 3rd after Arnie Hastings tucked his Suzuki's front end in turn 4 giving up second place to BMW's Nate Kern who was back from his bad get off at Barber earlier this year). Then there was Greg Avello. What can I say? After finally making it back to racing from his injuries last year, he went down on Saturday (ouch!) and the way the Buell teams pulled together to get his bike running again, Keith Delk, Moose & Anthony from Liberty - the Deeley crew, Bilansky and the Rozynski brothers.. Man, it was really cool to see how all the Buell pits helped out giving up parts, time and supplies to get Greg up and running again! Now having photographed enough racing to know, unless it's your team, your on your own (usually) this was another great thing about Buell racing, even those you are competing against will give you their spares, their expertise and assistance to get you back in the race. Now that (IMHO) makes it special to race a Buell! Oh and since I know folks will be asking.. I took last night off (crashed shortly after getting home from work) and will start sorting images and what not tonight.. Should have the first Saturday images up by the weekend (sooner if possible). |
