Hey guy's, I'm heading up to N. Conway over the holiday weekend. I'll be taking RT.9 from Keene to Concord. Any good roads north to Conway? Scenic, twisties? |

The Kancamangus Hwy. is the obvious choice, but ANY road or combination of roads that takes you from 93 over to 16 (other than rt. 4) is going to be worth the ride! |

That Lowell bike night looks pretty cool.Especially if we could muster up enough Buells to attend an event night. We should all make plans to do it.I'm sure i can make Lowell in about an hour and a half |

You guys say the night, and I'm there! It would be optimal to all meet at a central location and then ride in together. Show 'em how good a pack of thunderous Buells sound! |

It's pretty close to the same ride for me Greg, so like Dan said - pick a night! The next 2 or 3 weeks look good to me. End of June - not so good. July - to far away to be sure..... |

Hey Dan How is the bike treating you after the Direct Link Install? Your TPS still A-O-K? I would also like to make plans for that Bike Night, Since no one wants to pick a date I will go out on a limb and say........ "Lets ALL do it on Tuesday The 5th Of June..Tell all your Buell Buddy's and other as well!!!!!" That gives everyone a little over a week to make the plans we need to make and sweet talk the little ladies... I am sure a bunch of us NEBO guys will be up for it. I will post up to the guys on this..... |

Sounds good to me! Direct link? I have the race ecu, race air filter, and a Jardine can, nothing else. Not sure about the direct link question. My bike is running fine though. |

Hey NH crew, Where are we going to meet up? How 'bout Manchester HD? It's right off the freeway. Everyone else, we should meet up at a central location and ride in together! Any ideas? |

wish I could make it to the bike night, but I need a tire bad before any extended trips. Theres a bike show up in Gorham (maine) on saturday the 9th if anybodys interested, would love to get some buells to ride up with instead of getting stuck with all the jap's....:/ Cant wait to get some riding in with you guys, I'll be down for a day of Laconia, whats good for any of you that week? |

As for Laconia, probably that first Sunday is good for me. Not too crowded yet, and not too crazy. |

manchester HD is a decent spot. I live in hudson and can meet up whereever. The best way is to take 293 down till it turnes to route 3 and get off at exit 1 which will be spit brook rd... go down to danielle webster highway and then make the left accross the tyngsborough bridge and first right onto whatever st it is. Thats the rd bike night will be about 4 miles down on right. Or if everyone would rather cruise backway im sure me and sully (lvnlow) n the rest of us NH riders can take lead and bring us through londonderry, hudson to bike night. Lets get everyone to meet at Manchester HD at 6:00-6:30ish. |

I think we should meet way earlier if possible. The meet is only from 6-9pm. I'd like to get their early enough to relax and not have to hurry and leave. If we meet at 6, we probably wouldn't even get on the road til 7 or so. I have to work pretty early in the morning, so no after hours stuff for me. I'm home by 11. I say we meet at 5 at least. |

Yeah, we should leave by 6pm that way we get there around 630. Don't want to be the first, but don't want to get there too late. Can everyone make it by 6 possibly? Hey, anyone riding this weekend? It's supposed to rain AGAIN!! But maybe we'll get lucky as the week progresses. |

I also agree w/ the new date should it rain... For you guys that do not go to the DARK SIDE...I mean NEBO side! Yea NEBO side I have a word doc. that explains our fuel injection system very well. It is some Good reading. It has helped me understand how the Fuel system works in our buells. It is on The DDFI, we use the DDFI II system but the principles still apply. Shoot me a PM w/ your email and I will send it to ya. Scott what ya think? |

Thanks for sending it Eric, I read it all last night and it gives a great and simply explanation of what is going on! It mentioned that cylinder head temp has an effect on spark advance - do you know what the "ideal" head temp is? |

Might be ok for Tuesday. 40% chance of rain and supposed to be clear in the evening (fingers crossed). If anyone is up for it, Saturday may be a good day to do a morning ride. I suggest a ride around Lake Massabesic. I have a really nice loop that takes me around the lake, through some small towns including Derry, and then you come out on the other side of the lake back to the starting point. Round trip is about an hour and the scenery is pretty nice. I live like 5 minutes from the lake too in case we need something or the rain looks threatening. We could just hide out in the garage until it clears up enough to get you home or use my truck. Just a suggestion. |

For the Xb's The motor likes to be in the area's of 356 & 428 deg. F which is when the fan cycles. Pretty high temps compared to other sport bikes. I am not sure on the tubers. Key on: fan on 428 F----fan off 356 F Key off: fan on 338 F----fan off 302 F When I got the bike dyno'd last year they ran the bike around the 300 F mark, As that is normal on other sport bikes, Problem was when I got the bike back and it got up to temp it threw my mapping/spark curve off as the ecm was changing the map parameters around. I am getting it back on the dyno on wednesday to fix that problem. It is a fairly high temp to be running to me, but that is the nature of our beasts.. |

Well, that is one reason why we use 50 weight oil! |
