Has anyone tried to marry a Blast (high) windshield to an M2? I will probably dislike the look but like the functionality. I have a mill/lathe and should be able to machine the brackets. Besides I'd rather clean the bugs from the windshield than my face. Anyway Thanks.

B_b,

That's been done, but I can't remember who/when/where and I can't find the pics locally. IMO a better option is something from the Givi line -- great product, easy install, looks good too. YMMV : )

I'll second "Bigdaddy's" statement regarding the "Givi". I'm very pleased with mine.

Love the Givi. 15 minutes to install. I don't know how to re-size pics for posting, so I have to resort to links. Here is a side view from the parade lap at 2007 MotoGP.

Watch out for the cap nuts that hold windscreen coming loose, I lost four in one short ride. I replaced them with machine screws and locknuts from the local hardware store. Make sure metal fasteners do not contact flat surface of fairing or windscreen. Use rubber washers as spacers.
