Thanks to everyone here so far, I've felt very, very welcome as a new Uly owner. Seeing a few of the threads on parts and changes and long trips, of which I am wanting to plan, I want to ask some newb questions on putting a kit together. What should I have with me tool and part wise for daily and long distance riding? I mean from the beginning if you were to put one together, since I don't own anything now. May I also ask for the Buell part numbers because my dealer so far has had me bring in the part number when I want to order anything. I appreciate the help. Right now all I have is the kit that came with the bike, but I'd like to have this list to help all other new owners. Thanks Gug |

tire plugs and a way to inflate a tire, i use co2 cartridges, some use hand pumps and others use 12volt comp. some spare nuts and bolts as the ULY tends to scatter them along the road from time to time. some pliers and duct tape. i also carry spare wire and connectors and a plethora of torx bits and sockets. I store everything in my tourtech underseat bag and it holds a ton of crap. hope that helps |
