I cant say enough about this bike, the most awesome sounding, riding, looking, attention getting, envied bike ever! the sport bike guys love the small size and the harley guys love the big bad motor! I cant stay off the thing or say enough about it. I did get it handed to me by a gsx-r yesterday, but after the straight stretch he was braking hard and i was right on his @$$ and he couldnt loose me after that.

I like that paint scheme. The Tubers always remided me of the muscle car era and the thick white stripes look like they came right off a Camaro or Chevelle SS. Also, the tubers just have that lumpy big block sound. The first Buell I ever saw on the street was a Blue X1 like yours and after hearing it take off from a light, I bought one that summer! Have fun with the bike (I love mine, see the picture in my profile). I will only say this as a piece of advice, race on the track, it hurts less if you fall (speaking from experience) |

Right on! Anybody can go buy a cookie cutter racer-boy rice bike, but Buells are unique no matter what model you ride or where you ride it. At a bike night, theres a very good chance that yours is probably the only Buell there. BTW, I had my 98' S1W at a local track a few years back, and although the jap bikes could walk me on the back straight, I was all over them in the corners. It was funny watching them run up and down through the gears and I just rolled in and out of the throttle. Torque rules. |
