Hey... Does anyone no exactly what years of rear shocks will fit a 1996 S2? I no its 16.5", but will one from a say 2000 S3 work ? or a newer one? When did they stop using the K1400.8? Mine is getting baggy and I would like to find another one , and really can't justify a $1000 penske... Anyhow info appreciated guys. I dont imagine the Goodwill deal is still out there eh?......hankb |

Hank, any of the shocks from an S-2/S-3 will work---actually any of them, but those are sprung correctly--just as long as you match shock and front mount correctly. Early shock needs early mount etc.And you can get yours redone by any reputable suspension outfit. I have used Aftershocks here in CA. BTW--I have an older exposed spring WP from a 1997 Cyclone for sale with some American Sport Bike billet parts on it in the parts for sale section. |
