Just replaced my leaking fork seals, and while at it I also replaced upper and lower DU bushings. On rebound damping fork, upon tear-down I noticed a rubber bushing torn in half, and I have no idea where it came from.:-o It's not from any of the parts that come apart when swapping fork seals. The fork acts like a pogo stick. The manual I have says the damper assy cannot be serviced! I figure that's where it came from. Any ideas??? |

Oh yeah forgot to mention size of the bushing; 1/4" long, 3/4" outer dia., 1/2" inner dia. Just to reiterate, this isn't a part of the assy of the fork seal, cap, DU bushings, etc. Man this is driving me looney.:-o My bike is hanging from the rafters under my deck, and I'm afraid it's gonna rain soon. wa wa wa! |

They are reworkable, but you'll need the proper information. It takes some drilling on some. RaceTech or Traxxion Dynamics should be able to help. I don't have the info for your forks, but maybe someone here does. |
