I am trying to replace my rear tire, and was considering ordering one on line. There is a $30 difference between OEM replacement and Standard replacement for the Pirelli Diablos.

Can any one tell me the difference. The tires appear to be the exact same?

I am not completely sure what the case is with the Diablos, but if I recall correctly the OEM Dunlops were lighter.

OEM Dunlop D207s on XBs were significantly lighter than regular D207s, but I haven't heard of any such thing with the Pirellis.

Is the OEM Diablo actually a different part, or is it just coming from a different vendor?

D207 tires are obsoleted by D208.All Dunlops are lousy anyway.Get the Pirellis'.

The Diablo "T" is 1lb lighter than the standard no letter Diablo. For some reason I thought the "T" stood for Triumph OEM tire but I can't find the literature where I read that. The tires that cyclegear had on sale were the "T" style as well.
